Newsletter #19Hello Everyone, Here we are at the beginning of autumn with spring and summer behind us. Time has flown and we hope that good health and good memories have been with you since we were last in touch. On the home front we’ve been busy and excited with new developments. By now, we hope that many of you are well acquainted with our OneBun™, which has brought a new look, a new design, and a new taste to your family’s table. Now, there’s an addition to the OneBun™ family called Just Minis™. These bite-sized buns are delicious and can be enjoyed in many unique ways. We were honoured, this past June, to have been chosen by the Toronto Star as one of the 50 Best Employers in the GTA. We value our employees immensely, and they are an essential part to the success of our company. To be recognized for this makes us very proud. Currently, we are providing space within our building as a studio for a talented artist. In return, we are receiving English-style breakfasts, free babysitting services, decorating tips, child rearing advice, gardening tips and more. Every day, this special and modest British-born woman is engrossed in creating lovely and unique works of art in the studio. In case you are wondering who the “resident artist” is, she is our Mother! Many of her paintings hang in our homes and are constant reminders of her and her talents. Change is good, we hear. As such we are changing with the times and saving some trees in the process. We will be reducing the number of newsletters in this physical format. We’re developing our Facebook and Twitter presence through which we’ll be able to stay in touch more frequently, keep you up to date on what’s current, tell you about contests, new recipes, etc. Your responses to our newsletters – both typed and handwritten – have been so very heart-warming. We sincerely hope that you’ll continue to keep in touch with us through the online community. What you have to say is always appreciated and respected.
