Black Bean Dip 


This recipe has no added fats or oils and lots of flavour! Assemble all the ingredients together and pulse in your food processor. Makes approximately 3 cups of dip.

 

(15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 plum tomatoes
1/4 red onion
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded
1 clove garlic
1 lime, juiced
Salt to taste
A few dashes hot sauce, to your taste
½ c chopped cilantro leaves, optional

 

Put all ingredients into your food processor, and pulse until desired texture is reached, chunky or fine. Remove from machine bowl, place in serving bowl and chill until ready to serve.

For best results, serve with Pita Break Pitas or Lavash crackers.
